“I was traveling through Ann Arbor when I developed an emergent need for a root canal on the only day I would be in town. A local dentist contacted Dr. Ash, and he agreed to see me. After evaluating my status, Dr. Ash and his staff stayed long past their usual work day to tend to my surgical needs so that I could find comfort before departing town. I found him to be an excellent technician, efficient, communicative, comforting, and all this to a stranger, not a regular patient, when he, no doubt, just wanted to go home and have dinner! He's a hero in my book.”

“I've now had two root canals with Dr. Ash. He and his staff are wonderful! I was absolutely terrified before the first one, but he was very patient in answering all my questions. Let's face it: No one wants to get a root canal. However, he makes the process pain free and as easy as possible. I really appreciated the cost estimate up front, along with the (short) explanations of what was being done during the actual procedure. I hope I never have to have another root canal procedure, but if I do I'd go straight back to Dr. Ash!”

“I highly recommend Dr. Ash, he is the BEST in his field. My first experience with Dr. Ash was when I had a 5 alarm - failed root canal from a different endodontist. I not only needed a GOOD endodontist, but someone who would see me asap. He did both. They started me on antibiotics the day I called. The tooth was angry, but Dr. Ash has major skills at giving pain free shots and he makes sure you’re out of pain. He did another root canal on the tooth and I haven't had a problem with that tooth since. I used Dr. Ash's office a second time when I had an already capped front tooth go insane. The tooth was extremely mad and needed help right away. Unfortunately, Dr. Ash was out of town so they started me on antibiotics right away and I saw Dr. Stein, who also works in Dr. Ash's office a couple days a week. Dr. Stein is also an excellent Dr, with major skills at giving pain free shots. Concerned about cost, I asked to keep my crown and go through the tooth for the root canal. Because of that, we could not see that the tooth was actually cracked. Dr. Stein, performed a root canal, during which an abscess was found. I continued on antibiotics, but over the next few days the tooth refused to calm down and I went in to see Dr. Ash. The root canal was fine, so we decided to do an apicoectomy (surgically extracting the root at the base of the tooth) The surgery went well and the recovery from the fifteen stitches was minimal, but it wasn't long before the tooth was flat out furious. Dr. Ash went above and beyond to help me and my now completely enraged tooth, but finally we agreed it was time to see an oral surgeon about extraction and implant. I did have the tooth removed, and they found necrotic tissue from an old abscess deep in the pocket. I returned to Dr. Ash with the tooth, and he discovered there was indeed a crack in the tooth. I let him keep the tooth for his classes. I feel much better now. Thank you Dr. Ash.”
